Thinking about switching to this... thoughts?

Postby niniendowarrior » 20 Oct 2017, 01:20

After several months of using Thor's rom, my tablet has once again slowed down to a crawl and I'm contemplating on going back to my fresh install back up to speeden things up. The Google Play Services message boxes are getting on my nerves so I'm now contemplating on whether to switch to Linux. How stable is it now? Does Bluetooth and GPS work? Does it use Ubuntu Touch interface or is it just regular GNOME? I use Linux full time as my personal OS so getting around it shouldn't be much of a problem. I know back when I was asking around on installing Thor's ROM, the Linux option was suggested. Now, I'm ready to go for it if it's a good option. Any thoughts?

I personally like Linux better on this tablet most things work( including touch and Bluetooth). It uses a regular Linux interface nothing touch optimised and it comes with an on screen keyboard that seems to work pretty well.
