What are /boot2 and /flexrom partitions

Postby SPAstef » 25 Aug 2014, 09:39

Hi, I searched on the web and I found nothing, so I'm here to ask you what's the /boot2 partition.
I know that /data is where there are app data, /sdcard files (I think in /data/media) and other stuff.
In /system all the files related to the ROM/GApps and in /cache the cache, of course.
But in /boot2 and in /flexrom I have no idea of what kind of files I found inside.
I'm not a Dev, so tell me what these things are like I'm a noob.

its for using the multi boot option in the bootloader.... so you can store the boot menu config file mostly to boot linux on the tablet...

Thanks, i'm gonna show this to some people, as we didn't found these partition in many devices, so we thought that /boot2 and /flexrom was useless
