Postby gerardpuducul » 18 Nov 2012, 00:44

FLexreaper ICS ROM

but...................

wipe system/cache/etc said success but seems doing nothing
reset factory same
try to install new ROM (thor JB) : the installation start and go to the end successfully but when i reboot I am still on my old ROM.
install new application : ok but when i reboot application are gone.
try to change recovery with acer recory seems ok but after reboot still under twrp
afterota and blackthund3r tool freeze during process

What can I do?

I suppose you speak about this : How to REALLY format data partition if it gets corrupted
: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=83

But this is based on CMW.

And I don't hace CMW. I had TWRP.

So what can i do?

thks

why don't you download a cwm recovery or thors 1.7.3 touch http://forum.tegraowners.com/viewtopic.php?p=13740#p13740 recovery and flash it then do the real format in the new recovery?

HI VeraKeisey,

Maybe we can try to identify the cause of our problem.

Which rom/recovery/bootlader have you installed?
Have you an A500 or A501?
Have you done something special?

I have the same problem. Did you get it solved ?

Even when I try to do a "badsector" format it stops at the first block. First thought was that the flash was bad(could still be). But since I cant delete anything on it or do a factory reset. My guess would be that the flash have become writeprotected ? (Bad line, chip lifting ??)
