Postby mehdi9466 » 12 Apr 2013, 08:24

Hi masters.
This questions in XDA forum and after 1 day >>>> Who did not respond.
I have 3.0.1 HC stock boot loader .
Thor touch Recovery 1.7.3 & I have Tegraowners_ICS_ROM_v168
1-Can I use the After OTA tools to install the boot loader version 8?
2-For amateurs, the easiest way is to install boot loader V8 Which method?
3-Considering that I am now on Tegraowners_ICS_ROM_v168 ROM >>> Is my CPU ID is displayed in the cwm true?
4-Ics ROM(not tegraowners) is required to change the boot loader before using after OTA tools?
sorry for My bad english
please answer me by number & simple answer ;)
Thank you very much your answer. :P :P

Hi

I've installed v8 few days ago and the easy way in my opinion is apx blackthunder which you find here is this forum, just take a look around.

If you are thinking to Install any version of Thor's roms there is no need to use OTA after install.

I can get as far as waiting for my tablet to go into Bootloader mode and then my APX drivers fail. The PC just no longer recognizes the tablet is even connected to it.

Done that, multiple times. I actually suspect it now of being a bad SBK. Working on getting a valid one.

Getting a CPUID of 0x0288418140c10397 and being told I need to check my CPUID in SBCalc program :/

Edit: Seems my nandriod backup was giving my a corrupt CPUID. Got the correct one via usbdeview.
